This health warning actually got published as a newspaper article, though I do not know for which papers and which country it came about. Pretty interesting and funny yet there could be some truth in it.
Idiots in the office are just as hazardous to your health as cigarettes, caffeine or greasy food, an eye-opening new study reveals. In fact, those dopes can kill you!

For those of you who don’t know, I dabble a bit with the Linux operating system and my personal laptop at home has a dual boot setup with WinXP and Ubuntu Feisty since many months back.

What you see in the video is Linux with the Compiz Fusion effects installed. I seriously think it puts Vista Aero to shame. I just love eye candy.

My Home.
Went to IKEA again last Sunday. This time round finally got a proper TV Bench which was out of stock the last time I went there. The thing about IKEA furniture is that you have to assemble them yourselves. So off we go assembling. (Okay, the pics are a bit accelerated..)

Attended an anniversary dinner earlier today. Sheares Hall to be exact; a hall of residence that I stayed in for my entire 3 years of University life. This year is the 25th anniversary dinner for Sheares Hall and I attended the dinner with a few of my fellow blockmates from the BEST block in the hall; BLOCK A. We from Block A call ourselves Acers.
Anyway, the dinner itself was quite a disappointment. The only saving grace for me was the company of my fellow Acers namely Chuan Ling & Youmin, Ervine & Larissa, Anna, Cheau San and not forgetting our block icon Ah Leong. The emcee totally sucked big time. Should have asked which entertainment company he was from so that I will never ever engage their services in future (not that I see myself in a situation where I need to hire an entertainment company though).

Finally, some proper furniture for my living/dining room. Was so empty without a dining table and sofa. At least one piece of the puzzle is now in. Let’s have a look at the dining area before the table came in.

It’s a six seater solid wood table. I bought it from a warehouse somewhere in Ubi Industrial Estate. The table itself is custom made from Bali and the finishing (varnish) is done in Singapore. Since it’s solid wood, the table is quite heavy. Need at least 2 person to lift it up and carry.
Here are some other shots of the table.
Will really need to spend some effort to get a sofa now. The place looks a bit weird now without a sofa. Makes the dining table looks overwhelmingly big. Everything is coming into place; the home is more and more complete.
